Exchanging and furthering knowledge in Waste Water Treatment

Francesco Tadei is Civil Engineer and Waste Water Treatment (WWT) plants manager at Aset S.p.a. His job is about monitoring the plants' behaviour and adjust the regulation parameter to the situation. From November to December 2018 he was seconded at BC3 in Bilbao and had the opportunity to work in collaboration with Marc Neuman and Alina Tepes. They are working on WWTPs' resilience in order to uderstand all the possible factors that could affect plant's resilience. The team made an interesting analysis about Aset's major plant and they are collaborating in order to develop the analysis results in the coming months.
As a technical operator, Francesco found this experience in the context of an academic institution highly valuable, stressing the importance of similar synergies for multiple benefits in Waste Water Treatment.
